Now celebrating our 31 th year!

This Past Semester's Final Follies

During each semester, our Final Follies provide an opportunity for all students and their guests to enjoy samples of work of the visual, performing, and literary art classes. Billy Walker videotaped the complete event in March at the end of our January semester. Thanks, Billy. That video can now be viewed on line via this link, CLL Final Follies Special Event.

The whole video is about 51 minutes long. It begins with short segment during which Nicole Blatt, our President for the past two years, turns over the CLL Presidency to Holly Brelia. A list of all the new CLL Board-of-Director members is immediately below

What is the Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL)
of Fort Walton Beach?

Established in 1993 on the University of West Florida campus in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, the CLL provides interesting and stimulating educational activities for persons who believe that learning never ends. In addition to educational classes, the CLL organizes other activities that include local social events and occasional out-of-town trips.

Our organization is a Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) and we are affiliated with the Road Scholar. There are more than 400 similar LLIs across the country.

Unlike most LLIs, the CLL has no paid staff; all our class leaders are volunteers who have acquired their expertise through their lifelong career experiences or favorite hobbies.

In 2004, our organization was incorporated as a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt charity.

What are the costs?

Class Fees, As of January 2024:
• $20 for regular-enrollment multi-session classes
• $10 for one-time tours.
